Siheyuan: I am Du Shouyi

Chapter 317 Phase 3

Chapter 317 Phase 3

Chapter 317 Three Stages

March NO.13, Friday.

Not long after sending Xiaobei and the others away, Du Shouyi ushered in today's check-in time.

"Ding, the host's reward for signing in today is, 'Wang Xizhi' brushwork +2%."

Counting this time, it has been three days in a row to sign in the brushwork, which shows that the epiphany in the small material room on Tuesday has still lingering.

From noon on the day of his epiphany, Du Shouyi tried to combine the three kinds of domineering into his calligraphy. When he came to post again, he tried to control his brushstrokes with the color of knowledge and knowledge, and he achieved unexpected good results.

Some of the posters read 'character', some read 'shape', and his knowledge and color can see 'potential', the mystery of which cannot be expressed in words.

Sun Guoting, a great calligrapher and calligraphy theorist in the Tang Dynasty, once explained the three stages of calligraphy.

The first stage is "beginner's distribution, but seek to be fair."

Beginners must master strokes well, learn structure and composition, and write beautifully.Du Shouyi had already experienced this stage in his previous life, and he was praised as 'a good handwriting' when he first time traveled.

The second stage: "Now that you know what is right, you must pursue danger."

This stage refers to learning to 'walk' and trying to 'run'.

After traveling to this world, he is blessed with great fortune.Successively obtained the authentic works of Zhao Ziang, Mi Fu and other national treasures, which allowed him to enter the second stage smoothly and comprehend the beauty of danger.

The third stage, "Knowing the danger, returning to justice"

Now that you know the beauty of danger, you can do whatever you want.Use the pen as you wish, "dangerous" means "justified".

He experienced this feeling on the night when he wrote "Bei Hu Tie", and Du Shi's writing style began to emerge. He also took this opportunity to enter the ranks of calligraphers and achieved a 'life achievement'.

But then the system registered the 'Authentic Works of Wang Xizhi', and his problems followed. He seems to be back to Phase [-] 'beginner distribution, just to be fair. '

In the process of imitating the king, he began to re-discover the fairness of the knot. But this time it was not a simple cycle. After climbing over a mountain, he found a more beautiful mountain in front of him.

After seeing Wang Xizhi's 'potential', he once again saw 'dangerousness', and the second level of realm was in sight.

He has read Sun Guoting's "Book Book" in his past and present lives, and now he has a deep understanding of the eight characters in it, "Violation without offense, harmony without difference".

This not only refers to the absorption of Wang Xizhi's brushwork, but also his understanding of the structure and composition.

He used to worry secretly about his inability to teach "yin and yang", and he also studied Lao Zhuang at night to understand the philosophical views of Wang Xizhi and the people of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.

But the situation has changed, "violation without offense, harmony without difference", these eight words express his current "dominant style".There are yin and yang, there is beauty and clumsiness, and there are many things that are unclear and unclear. In fact, it is closer to the golden mean of Confucius and Mencius.

There are only two words to explain "violation without offense, harmony without difference": balance.

Jin people seek change, and later generations seek neatness. But in the end, the word 'balance' cannot be escaped.Dynamic balance, static balance, spatial balance, visual balance and so on and so forth.

Du Shouyi finally realized why the system named his and Xiaobei's company 'Balanced Investment'.One to nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine, that is to build a 'balance' between him and Xiaobei.

He is the 'moving' soaring to the sky, and Xiaobei is the 'quiet' who is the god of the sea, one movement and one stillness, perfect balance.

In short, he has learned a lot in the past few days.As mentioned above, in the 33rd day, no matter calligraphy or life perception, he has stepped up to a higher level.

After downloading the brushwork, Du Shouyi put his bag on his back and walked around the infirmary, which was 'moving' today.

The expansion report of the infirmary has been approved.Starting next week, the original bungalow will be demolished and a two-story building will be built on the site.Examination rooms, observation rooms, etc. are all available, and even "advanced" flushing toilets are equipped.

Lao Jiang had already accepted his fate, and there was no strange look on his face. But Dr. Ren's palace was not that deep. When she saw Du Shouyi, she greeted Du Shouyi with a smile:

"Master Du, do you want a treat at noon?"

"If you want to invite, it's Lao Jiang who invites, he is the head of the infirmary.".

If one jumps a bit high, it is necessary to win over the suppressed one. This is also a balance, but it is quite boring.

The medical office has been temporarily arranged in a small warehouse and will be 'open' as usual tomorrow.Du Shouyi looked at both places and then walked to the union office.

At the end of the medical room reconstruction report, the factory had to sign and stamp the seal. He got that stamp in exchange for his promise to participate in the 'Workers' Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition', and he came here to hand in the homework today.

"Chairman Zhang, one piece of regular script and one piece of running script, I can do both here."

The chairman of the labor union sighed and said, "It started on Sunday. If you insist on delaying until the last day of the deadline, people have come to urge you several times."

Du Shouyi handed him a cigarette. "I've been looking for status for the past two days. I have to take your tasks seriously, so I can't mess things up?".

What Du Shouyi didn't expect was that his superiors attached great importance to this exhibition. After setting up the exhibition hall on Saturday, I specially invited several old gentlemen from the museum to give them some guidance.

An old gentleman stood in front of Du Shouyi's work for a long time, and suddenly he clapped his hands and laughed loudly, "No wonder you look so familiar! Old Fu, come here, the Du Shouyi you are looking for is here. Let me see, um, Red Star Rolling Steel factory?".

The two old gentlemen commented on Du Shouyi's words for about ten minutes, and then called the photographer of "Human Painting".

"This chairman's poem can be photographed. This is the highest-level work in the entire exhibition."

"Human Painting" has a deep relationship with calligraphy circles. In the future, the third and fourth presidents of the Calligraphy Association will be working as art editors at "Human Painting" at this time.

When it comes to calligraphy associations, we have to digress a little bit, and maybe a little further.

Is there a book association in the 60s?No. Calligraphers in the 60s were under the management of the United States Association and the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and there was no independent organization. It was not until [-] that the "Book Association" was formally established.

Why was the Calligraphy Association established so late?In fact, as mentioned earlier, this has something to do with traditional Chinese culture.

Mr. Qi Gong once said: Calling me a calligrapher is worse than calling me a poet or a literati. Since ancient times, no one has called himself a calligrapher. Calligraphy is only one of the many skills of a literati.

This passage is very representative.Because since the beginning of writing, no calligrapher has survived solely by writing. Wang Xizhi, Mi Fu, and Su Shi were all scholar-bureaucrats and literati, and they did not just rely on writing.

A calligrapher is not a painter. Even if someone later made a living by selling calligraphy, he must have another serious occupation, and he must be a member of the cultural circle.

Mr. Wu Yuru put it more bluntly; calligraphy is a petty skill among literati, and it is not worth showing off.

Perhaps influenced by the "literati complex" of planting flowers, we and RB have different emphasis on calligraphy. This point is due to different values, so there is no need to deny it.

Not to mention when RB Academy was established, there are 15 billion people growing flowers, but how many of them practice calligraphy? Are there two or three thousandths?Let me tell you a little business anecdote. At one time, the domestic sales volume of flower rice paper was less than one-fifth of the exported RB, which speaks volumes.

Japanese calligraphy was brought back by envoys from the Tang Dynasty, and Chinese calligraphy has always been emphasizing the imitation of the Jin and Tang Dynasties. At the beginning, the two calligraphy styles were very similar. You saw many characters in the Japanese "Sanbi", and if you didn't mention them, you would think they were written by Han people.

But maybe because they don't have the foundation of seal and script, their paths are different from ours. They call their calligraphy style 'Heyang' and ours 'Tangyang'.

Take cursive script as an example. In modern times, RB's cursive script has gradually become a kind of 'line art'.To be honest, some people don't appreciate it.

You say it is not Chinese calligraphy, right? It is indeed, and it is quite tasteful when you think about it carefully. But it always feels a little weird, and it doesn't seem to mean that much.

Beginning in the 60s, the RB calligraphy community put forward an argument: Chinese calligraphy is dead, and modern calligraphy is in RB.

For this reason, in [-], "People's Day" conducted a selection, and selected several works of contemporary calligraphers as responses. It is also used as a warm-up before RB Academy visits China.

Mr. Lin Sanzhi, mentioned earlier, stood out in this selection. His works were published on the front page of "Ren Ri", while Guo Moruo's works were on the second page.

The newspaper came to RB as it wished, and Mr. Lin also won the title of 'Contemporary Grass Sage'.This is not our bragging, it is the RB calligraphy world that first called Kai De.

Because of a series of similar incidents, the establishment of the Book Association was immediately put on the agenda shortly after the chaos was rectified in [-], and it was quickly approved. After more than a year of preparation, in [-], the Book Association was formally established.

If you look at it from a distance, this event is very historic. For thousands of years, Huahua Calligraphy broke away from the identity of "literati's last skill", and has its own independent status for the first time, and "calligrapher" has also become an independent "profession".
